The Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Program in Hospitality and Hotel Administration is offered by the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Pusa, New Delhi and Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi. The three-year program equips trainees with all the required skills, knowledge and attitude to efficiently discharge supervisory responsibilities in the Hospitality Sector. The Bachelor of Science program comprises in-depth laboratory work for students to acquire the required knowledge and skill standards in the operational areas of Food Production, Food and Beverage Service, Front Office Operation and House Keeping. It also imparts substantial managerial inputs in area such as Sales and Marketing, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Hotel and Catering Law, Property Management, Entrepreneurship Development, etc.
To be eligible for the NCHMCT- JEE 2017 students must pass the 10+2 system of Senior Secondary Exam or its equivalent. English as one of the subjects is mandatory in either core/ elective / functional modes.
Those appearing for their plus two can also appear for the NCHMCT- JEE 2017 on provisional admission basis and if their pass percentile or marks is not submitted latest by 30 th September 2017, the admission stands canceled
All candidates from the General and OBC categories, upper age limit is 22 years as on 01 July 2017. Candidates born on or after 01 July 1995 can apply. And in the case of SC & ST candidates, upper age limit is 25 years as 01 July 2017.
Reservation of Seats
12 % for Scheduled Caste ( SC ) category in central and state IHMs.
7% for Scheduled Tribues ( ST ) category in central and state IHMs.
27% for OBC (Central List) (Non – Creamy Layer ) Category in Central IHMs.
3 % seats shall be reserved for Physically Disabled across the board as per rules.
Written test exam will be conducted in the month of April / May 2017

All correct answer under the above sections carry 1 mark and the wrong answer leads to dedications of 25 marks.
